Deep ruby red with tight rim. Intense dry plums, salty old-ginger, licorice, Chinese herbal tea and forest floor. On palate, plummy finish with strong tannins and dry fruit. Very intense and licoriced. Class fo the style. More to keep. Will the fruit survive? DD82.
