Deep purple; tight, pink rim. With intense, ripe dark fruits, it oozes tones of sweet and spice oak. A well made Grand Cru Classes St. Emilion, the fruits are focused and taste long on plate, tannins elegant and finely extracted. Composition is 66% Merlot, 17% Cabernet Franc and 10% Cabernet Sauvignon, with the remainder made up of Malbec and Carmenère. Having tasted this wine from its museum vintage including 1966, this 2016 lasts for a decade.
