Thibault Liger-Belair Moulin-a-Vent Vieilles Vignes, Beaujolais, France 2012 is the more serious Moulin A Vent. Lignier-Belair is exceptional in uncovering the floral tones, fruit, earthiness and intensity of the Old Vines. Awarded WA92.
Josh Reynolds writes well on the wine. "Vivid ruby. Raspberry, cherry, licorice and violet on the assertively perfumed nose and in the mouth. Juicy and precise, with very good depth, energy and building spiciness. Lingers with impressive tenacity, showing finishing notes of spices and flowers. I find this year`s bottling of this wine far more vibrant and incisive than its `09 sibling."
