Chateau le Doyene 2009, Premieres Cotes de Bordeaux

Ripe, dark cherry with moca coffee and dark chocolate tones. Intense palate with dark fruit, leading to a long, licorice and spicy finish. Some complexities. Consistent.

Many features and customer benefits. First, high score across a spectrum of tasters(RP89, Figaro 92, Connection to Wine 91, DD91); second, a Michel Rolland wine((long fruit-fix, softer, intense, complex and age worthy); third, as it is(no fining nor filtering, riper); finally, modern making(mixed oak, 40% French barrel; excellent soil, low temperature/small stainless steel tank fermentation).
