A nice surprise!

Fresh and ripe strawberry fruit/pipa fruit; jasmine tea; rose petals, ginger flower, lavender; lightish elements of sandalwood. A slowly evolving nose!

The plate drums on a faster, allegretto tempo: ripe, salty plums with a spicy and savoury finish. Balanced, but may need more structure. ABV 14.5%, but don’t feel like one. Medium finish; adequate, as a lunch wine.

A ‘tamed’ and a well-tempered Monstrell. Improved. Simple. High score, like 92 Points.
