Chateau Lanessan 2006, Haut Medoc, Bordeaux. Sturdy and 4-square, Chateau Lanessan 2006 gives bright, deep ruby red colour. Dark fruited(blueberries and blackcurrants), floral scented with wood spiced. On the palate, dense, melting the tannins away harmoniously on a good, medium finish. Stylistically, it may recalls elements of Chateau Gruaud Larose and Chateau Lynch Bages. Chateau Lanessan is super-valued. RP88, DD89.
