Chateau Lanessan 2015


Chateau Lanessan. The estate is managed by the talented Paz Espejo since 2009 and is surrounded by prestigious Grand Cru Classés from the neighoring Saint-Julien appelation. Lanessan always offers great value-for-money wines in outstanding vintages like 2009 2010 and now 2015 which will remain undoubtedly a sleeper of the vintage.

Tasting is classic, and smooth. The tasting team agrees almost unanimously. Blackberry and black licorice aromas and flavors. Full body, chewy tannins and bright acidity. Impressive concentration for the vintage. 60% Cabernet Sauvignon, 35% Merlot, 4% Petit Verdot and 1% Cabernet Franc.
