WIne 2. Chateau Cap De Haut Premieres , Cotes de Bordeaux 2007

Soft, dry red fruit, easy to drink with plummy finish. Lively acidities. Food wine; adequate mid palate.

Wine 7. Chateau de Vertheull, Bordeaux 2008

Vivid mixed red and dark fruit with bon-bon tones. Modern, round, fruity palate with nice structure and medium finish.

Wine 10. Chateau de Vertheull, Bordeaux 2008

Soft dry fruit with mineral tones with a lot of nuances. Classic Graves palate with flinty finish. Medium length.

Wine 11. Chateau L'Hostipal Rouge, Graves 2006

Ripe, dusty fruit. Smoky. The more complex Wine with 3 royal grapes(cs, Cf, Malbec). Earthy palate with decent fruit. Medium finish. We like this wine.

Wine 13. Beau-Site Haut Vignoble, Saint-Estephe 2004.

Floral (dry flowers and dry grass) with soft blackcurrant fruit. We tasted vintages 2007, 2006, 2004 and 2000 in a roll. This 2004 is the easiest of 4. Firm palate, melted tannins, compact style. Claret-like. Rare nose.

Wine 15. Chateau Gabelot (White), Entre-Deux –Mers 2010

Dry citrus fruit.. Mineral and chalky tones. Fresh seawater. Strong palate, best with raw seafood, particularly oysters. Long finish by the standard.
