2016 EP le Cygne de Fonreaud Blanc, Bordeaux

The dry white of Fonreaud of Listrac, CBS. A blend of 60% sauvignon blanc, 20% sémillon and 20% muscadelle. Bright straw with green tints. Vivid stone fruit. Classy. Slight pear aromas that follow to the palate. Perfect balance and structure with a creamy mouthfeel and crisp finish. Some wood(seems partial oak fermentated) but fruit unleashed perfectly. No ratings, which is good, for tasters. If we are to award a score, it will be DD93.

This wine is for the real lovers who cares about quality, balance of wine, and not the names. This wines is valuable: only 9% of the Medoc product, also from the best of the free-draining gravel soils of Medoc and only 20 Medoc Chateaux (for example( Châteaux Cos d’Estournel, Mouton Rothschild (Aile d’Argent) and Margaux, Beychevelle, Talbot); higher cost of production, such as oak fermentation and new oak storage.
