Domaine DECELLE-VILLA Savigny-Les-Beaune Premier Cru Les Gollards 2014
Clear deep garnet, with tight, purple rim. Dense fruit(black and red fruit): cranberries, black currant and dark cherries, with tones of forest undergrowth, mushroom and light spice. On the palate, intensely fruited as well, slightly spiced, meaty, and structured with long length.
This wine used natural gravity for getting fruit, very gentle press. Grapes are from the two parcels of the Brouillard Valley start from the top. Hence they give cool and dense fruit \
21-day fermentation, tannins are mouth coating. 18 months in 20% new oak. Fruit shines through, not the traditional meaty ones.
