2017 Wine Future, Chateau Guiraud
Bright yellow with green tints. Floral, a full spectrum of the nose from citrus and apricot fruit, orange fruit to tropical fruit(fresh citrus, honey, pineapple, tangerine), juicy and bright . Palate filled with energy. Medium, almondy finish. Some potential. The composition is 65% Semillon and 35% Sauvignon. Production is merely 12 to 25 hl/ha; vine density is high at 6600 per ha. Price has been stable but has increased 4% to 5% for 2017 EP. It is a good drinking Sauternes, maybe not for investment returns.
