2017, Wine Futures, Chateau de Myrat Sauternes

As dense and layered as 2016, this 2017 is with lots of tropical fruit(pineapple, apricots, mango), spice and dried-lemon character. There are some acidities to keep this 2017 vibrant. In an easy-to-understand a la Barsac style similar to Chateau Coutet and Chateau Doisy Daene, 2017 Myrat is slightly riper, weaker in mid-palate and shorter in length. Its 88% Semillon is vinified in 1/3 new, French oak; 8% Sauvignon Blanc and 4% Muscadelle in Stainless Steel. The terroir is clay with limestone in the soil, so pretty intense and warm. Score is like at the 93.
