2017, Wine Future, Chateau Filhot
Straw yellow in color. Floral, elegant fruit nose(pineapple, apricots, peach, papaya, grapefruit, orange skin, baked apples, ginger, honey), with fresh, lemony custard tart finish with a bit of toastiness. No trace of heavy fruit but, just elegant notes of ripe citruses, orange skin and eucalyptus honey mixed with care. It is pure yet intense. Structure not as big, This is more lightish and not as structured than its 2016, however, 2017 of super value and underrated. Length is less than we expected. WE94; WS94.
