14.5% with fresh acidity don't feel the heavy alcohol.The palate is intense and bodied, from the centenary 100y+ old vines of the single vineyard Benufet, which displays expressive nose of blossoms and stone-citrus fruit. The bright colour(green tints) reflect the nose and taste. An intense and mouth-filling sensation where the careful selection adds complexity and depth, the natural freshness of the grapes adds unity. In our view, this is one of the most valued white made from Granacha from Spain. Small production.
The domain Benufet has one of the oldest vineyards in Terra Alta. For better freshness the rich grapes of the low productive vines are manually harvested and cooled until 4 degrees before bringing them from field to the winery. The fermentation is in a modern conical concrete fermentation vessel.

"The intriguing nose of the 2015 Benufet is already developing a petrol-like note combined with the meaty white fruit Garnacha Blanca is able to achieve, especially from extremely old vines like this. There is also a faint peachy pit note. The palate is very tasty, it makes you salivate. There is a salty feeling to this that I love. It makes it very tasty. It should age nicely. 7,500 bottles.”
