Grand Crus of The Wachau Collection 2017

This 'Die Grossen Lagen Der Wachau Kollektion 2017' (Grand Crus of The Wachau Collection 2017) is a unique collection consisting of nine single-vineyard wines from the best sites in the Wachau. This black-lacquered wooden box is adorned with a map of the Wachau region, highlighting the individual plots located along the Danube River. Below is a breakdown and detailed description of each of the wines contained in this collection box.

Wachau is one of Austria's most established and notable wine regions, specializing in dry wines made from Riesling and Grüner Veltliner. Smaragd is the ripest dry wine that must have a minimum of 12.5% alcohol level. Wachau is a small wine region that usually accounts for only around 3% of Austria's wine production, so the quality is high.
