2015 Gerard Bertrand Reserve Speciale Viognier, IGP, France

Bright, medium lemon with pale rim. Classic Viognier rendition with a full nose of orange blossom, peaches and pears.

Juicy. A citrusy palate with hints of kimquat, pineapples along side with salintiy, which leads to a strong mid-palate that will go well with seafood and white meats. We suggest all sea-shells cooked in any style, Mediterrean or Greco calamaris, lightly pan-fried fillet, creamy chicken dishes. Alcohol 13% ABV is about right for the profile. Any enjoyable wine; a good interretpation on Viognier; won't break your bank.
