Lovely purple with a tight rim. Robust mixed red and dark fruit. Tree fragrance, juicy with ripe sweetness. You will also have the sun and southern Meditterean breezes from the glass.

The taste is down to earth but simultaneously seduces with voluptuous fruit flavours and a sensual structure.

This wine is for the more adventurous for something new and modern.

The vines are located on the upper terraces of Orbieu and sheltered from the north wind; hence the fruit is soft. There is no oak treatment; hence the wine is fruit pure. Classic GSM blend of roughly 33% from each, so there is some fruit complexity. The wine is bodied because the ABV is 14.5%, but it is not heady.

The score is 93JD. Some ageing potential.
