Kevin Says began as Lau Chi Sun’s clever reinterpretation of the classic game 'Simon Says.' As a pioneer in wine journalism, Lau Chi Sun has consistently advanced the industry through his perceptive insights and engaging sense of humor. Simon Tam, well-known for his vast knowledge and constant enthusiasm, has been an inspiration to wine lovers. For many years, I was the newcomer, moving within the same circles as Simon but never actually meeting him.

 

This distance generated considerable speculation among observers. In retrospect, I am grateful that these minor misunderstandings did not prevent Simon and me from developing a meaningful connection. This inspiration forms the foundation of my experience. It honors a key period in my wine experience while creating an opportunity for my authentic voice.

This journal will serve as a collage of my life, encompassing more than wine-related experiences.
