Chateau Beaumont 2000, Haut Medoc CB

Deep ruby; tight rim. Ripe, fresh and forward red fruit still juicy, with tones of leather, coffee and toffee. The palate is pure, with structure with rounded tannins and is smoky. Suppressed with medium body, it tastes smart and has a long finish though. So, we suggest slight decanting.

Located between the communes of Margaux and Saint-Julien, Château Beaumont draws its finesse and its delicacy from the deep gravels of the best soils of the Haut-Médoc. We have been tasting this wine consistently since the 1992 vintage and came to the view that this vintage 2000 is of Ssuperb value. Chateau Beaumont is amongs the best of the Cru Bourgeois; always elegant; never disappoints.
