Chateau Beaumont 2012

Deep ruby with a tight rim. Ripe, fresh and forward mixed fruit(mostly black fruit), with prunes, wood spices, with tones of leather, coffee and toffee. The palate is blackcurranty, prunny , with structure with firm tannins and is smoky. Bodied by CB Standard(higher alcohol, acidities, tannins, fruit); raised juice and lively acidity.

Located between the communes of Margaux and Saint-Julien, Château Beaumont draws its finesse and its delicacy from the deep gravels of the best soils of the Haut-Médoc. We have been tasting this wine consistently since the 1992 vintage and came to the view that this vintage 2012 is of superb value. Chateau Beaumont is amongst the best of the Cru Bourgeois; always elegant; never disappoints.

Very high scores, including WE92.
