Oliver's Taranga Shiraz 2005

November 19, 2018

Rich, deep ruby. From the outstanding 2005 vintage and scoring James Halliday 94 points, this bottle of Oliver's Taranga Shiraz 2005, McLaren Vale offers a deep purple-red colour with rich and concentrated fruit, Dark chocolate, mulberry and sweet oak characters richly sweet minty aromas, recalling Christmas pudding characters as well. The glass delivers a smooth and complex wine with fine-grained tannins that fill out and lengthen the palate.that has a big mouthfeel and a long lingering finish. It is more open than the 2004 vintage and is riper and support with even more fruit than 2002.
