2017, Wine Future, Chateau Dalem, Fronsac

Intense, dark ruby with a violet hue. Tight rim. Dark, ripe fruit, dry flowers and fragrant. Dark berry and currant fruit, chocolaty. Much forward and upfront than 2016 and earlier. Used oak; some complexity; medium bodied, elegant tannins; superb value; medium length, high scores, such as JS93 and WS92. It is a very classic Fronsac, but whether you like this style is another matter.
