Louis Eschenauer L’elegance Bordeaux Superieur 2019

Dark ruby, tight rim. Ripe, dark fruit(plums, currant and cherries, kirsch)- still fresh. Sweetish, medium palate leading to a tannic and spicy finish. ABV and style reflect the Bordeaux Superieur appellation; it may need some time to reconcile the finish- too extracted for delicate food such as the Dim Sum for that afternoon. However, it tastes full, rich and ripe for some who likes the power type; it will have its followers.

Louis Eschenauer is a Negoce, exceptionally for the mass market.

Heavy bottle; 'wax-look' capsule; powerful label type-face; quality print quality. The presentation is good. Maybe a gift with good perceived value?

Adequate as a social drink.
