Pale gold. There is a wild spectrum of the nose from apple, citrus(lime, lemon) to stone fruit(peach, pear). The palate reflects the nose with minerality, flint, and stones. Peppery finish. ABV at 13,5% is pretty full-bodied by a simple white wine standard.
Friulano as a young cousin of Sauvignon Blanc, lives under the shadow of Sauvignon Blanc. It does not have spicy herbaceousness, making it less tiring and less jittery when drunk alone. It tastes relaxed for pairing with food such as crispy dishes or white meat. It is also known as Sauvignon Vert or Sauvignonasse, a descendant of Sauvignon Blanc.

It is not just another little white- the fruit of this little bottle shines throughout the tasting session. The packaging is an excellent- heavy, Burgundian bottle with a high-quality cork. The nice surprise is that the wine body is lean yet full. The style is clean and modern, yet a traditional, classic intensity of Colli di Rosazzo, a microzone is highly suited for the Colli Orientali del Friuli DOC. It has direct ties with the Abbey of Rosazzo, where winemaking has developed over the centuries. What does that mean? It means that people from this winery have worked with wine and production methods from time immemorial.
The score is consistent at 90 to 91 levels.
