Everyday Bordeaux Wine 2015 En Primeur(Part 3)
2 BIG wines, extravagantly rich but very elegant from MARGAUX. This is the first time Tasting Team attempts on MAROJALLIA though we wrote about the second wine Clos Margalaine for vintage 2007, which is already quite impressive a Margaux unknown. Le Clos Margalaine is none other than the second wine of Chateau Marojallia, which has been coined the first Garage Wine in Bordeaux, in the garage of Roger Rex, with the help of husband-wife team of Chateau Valandraud for Margaux. The proportion of Cabernet Sauvignon is a bit lower than in the first wine, with 64% of this grape and 36% Merlot, in from 4 acres of beautiful land of deep bass. The assembly of this wine with a higher composition of Merlot, offers great finesse and elegance. lots of perfume, complex oak tones, the taste is clean and structured, it is a born Margaux, and is fine and fragrant.
Really big wines, Robert PArker's tasting is, in our views, quite correct.
This first wine MAROJALLIA tis not classified but considered as an assimilated GCC, located next to CHATEAU MARGAUX and its terroir is a revelation. Its consultants JL Thunevin & Michel Rolland have helped to drive the wines at their best-always the best. We all Love these 2 wines. If your purchase are more for daily use, the second wine Clos Margalaine 2015 is more than adequate.

Robert Parker writes, "Another brilliant example from Murielle Andraud and her partner Jean-Luc Thunevin, the intense 2012 Marojallia (a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot) displays an opaque purple color and a beautiful nose of charcoal, graphite, blueberry and blackberry fruit. Some toasty oak is present, but the sweetness of the tannins, the multi-dimensional mouthfeel, and terrific length and intensity make this one of the great stars of 2012.
