Chateau Malescot Ste. Exupery 2007, Margaux

Glittering colours ( orange to medium purple at the core), garnet Rim. Nose of dry purple flowers, red raspberry, cherries and strawberries. Fruit tones of pomegranate and fresh thyme. On the palate, earthy plum & cherry fruit and finishes nicely with rancio of cigar box, eucalyptus, dark herbs and ripeness of the 2007 character. Still lively tannins. Medium bodied.

At least one-hour, full decanting if you may Want to drink fast. Allow it in the glass to evolve to appreciate the changing aromas worthy of a dazzling Kaleidoscope(from red to black fruit to bouquet of violets and lavender!).

The composition is 50% Cabernet, 35% Merlot, 10% Cabernet France and 5% Petit Verdot for complexity and balance, long fermentation for structure, mixed new and old oak to show power and elegance.

Score is merely WS90. Hence, this is a good deal for this pretty Margaux.
