Château Olivier Blanc 2015

As I revisit Château Olivier Blanc 2015, I’m struck by its luminous pale gold hue and remarkable clarity. The nose is vibrant, bursting with lemon zest, white peach, and grapefruit, all lifted by delicate floral notes and a subtle hint of almond. On the palate, the wine feels energetic yet refined—its lively acidity framing layers of citrus and orchard fruit, anchored by a distinctive mineral streak that brings precision and freshness. With a bit of time in the glass, it reveals a gentle creaminess at the core, adding depth without sacrificing vitality. The finish lingers gracefully, echoing citrus and a touch of salinity, with just a whisper of toast from its time in the bottle.
Recent international critics have been equally impressed, awarding scores between 92 and 95 points. In Hong Kong, the current average price on Wine-Searcher sits around HK$360–HK$450 per bottle, making my acquisition price of HK$275 feel especially rewarding. This wine still offers both pleasure and value, with excellent potential for further ageing.
