2018 Maison Les Alexandrins Cotes du Rhone Rouge

Deep ruby, pink rim. Some mileage. A modern approach of round and fruity style- easy to drink with ripe red cherry and plum fruit with cloves, a creamy texture, soft tannins, over 12+ second fruit length and concentration. Quite long and intense. Really not bad.

Well-blended is another great feature of tis little wine. 34% Syrah/Shiraz and 33% from further NOrth in VInsobres. 33% Grenache/Garnacha from the commune of VAcluse. Mourvèdre. So the fruit is relative of more refined, cooler quality with 14% ABV of the milder touch.

This little red is more modern in its approach and more contemporary in its Style. In this range, the search for perfect harmony from an early age guide breeding and blending. The vineyards are planted on a variety of soils: clay and limestone with stony topsoil. The stones are excellent for retaining heat and ensuring that the grapes achieve full ripeness.

These wines play the card of revisited classicism.
