Domaine Decelle-Villa Pommard Premier Cru Les Epenots 2012

Bright deep ruby, with a narrow pink rim. Bouquet of flowers, roses and violet. Classic blackberry fruit, cherries, raspberries. Palate reflects the same with strong varietal character and sweet spices. Vintage 2012 gives a simply elegant style with fine tannins. Very long, silky finish. Classic Pommard at Premier Cru level.

Vines are 45 years-old. ABV is 13%. Sugars fermented out, hence zero residual. Next to the natural vegetation, name the 'Thorns', on gentle slopes

Ageing 18 months in 20% new oak.
