Chateau Grand Corbin 2010, GCC St Emilion

The majority grape being 70% Merlot, with 1/3 Cabernet Franc and a dash of Cabernet Sauvignon. A mix of black fruit(currant and berries) and red fruit(cherries)-some lushness recalling Pomerols where the nose remain classically St.Emilion. On the palate freshness from the acidity. Very balanced structure with medium-body. Although ABV is 14%, you don't feel it. Quite elegant; fine, ripe tannnins rounded off. Spicy, earthy and used-leather finish; tobacco tones. Finishes quite long. Keep and starts drinking now.
