2017 Wine Future, Chateau Les Grands Chenes

Dark ruby core with a light garnet rim. Extracted style with blackcurrant fruits joining liquorice, tar, smoky sandalwood. Towards inky tones. On the palate, it is a lightish earthy yet ripe and forwards Medoc with notable minerality, as well as lurking dark fruit. LIvely structure with firm tannins. We always like this wine since our first tasting of this wine in 1998. Excellent lunch wine, finishing long and earthy.

A wine that will last For 5 years. Resulting wine should be inky and deep in nose and lightish mineral on finish. Classy. So, 2017 is fruit precis vintage for Les Grand Chenes, so it is still worth keeping not for investment but for private consumption.
