Moana Park Vineyard Tribute Syrah 2008

Medium ruby with a medium rim, showing some bottle ageing. On the nose, a classic Hawke's Bay Syrah bouquet – wild raspberry, spicy dark plum, burnt toast, vanilla, clove, cinnamon, and brown baking spices- not too intense but quite complex. On the palate, juicy and immediately delicious with the balance of red/dark fruit flavours, spicy oak/ baking spice and meaty nuances. The medium finish is persistent and balanced — some sophistication.

Moana Park Vineyard Tribute Syrah 2008 is in the ultra-premium category and produced only in the best years and from the best block from a single vineyard. 45% new French oak; 14% ABV.
