Rauzan Despagne Bordeaux Red 2017

An AOP Bordeaux with some power( ABV13.5%). Plummy, blackberries and dark cherries lead to tones of chocolate and spices. The Majority Merlot(70%), Cabernet Sauvignon(15%) with a Pinch Of Cabernet Franc creates some good curiosities. ‎Medium-bodied; smooth tannins.

The Despagnes are at the head of 300 ha spread over several vintages, led by Jean-Louis' children (Thibault, Gabriel and Basaline) and by Joël Élissalde, technical director. Rauzan Despagne is a former hunting lodge of the XVII‎‎and‎‎s. acquired in 1990, today the place of residence of Gabriel Despagne, graphic designer and creator of the labels of the house.‎
